Workshop Title: Make Your First Six Weeks a Success
Who: Elementary Teachers

New Teachers: Know exactly what you need to do to have a great school year, beginning the very first day.
Experienced Teachers: Learn new ideas that will re-energize you.
What:
This one-day, hands-on workshop is guaranteed to make sure you are ready when your students arrive on the first day of school. You will brainstorm with groups and then make important decisions about your classroom. You will leave with To Do Lists so you know exactly what needs to be done during the first weeks at school. The success of your teaching depends on the day-to-day management of your classroom. Learn how to decrease the stress of teaching so you can enjoy this fantastic profession you've chose. When you leave this workshop you will have made decisions about:

Kelly Bergman has been an educator for 17 years. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Northern Colorado, a Master’s degree in Whole Learning from Regis University and an Administrative Certificate from the University of Denver. As a teacher and principal in elementary schools, Kelly has always been known for helping others make sense of complex materials and tasks. Most recently, she has had the privilege of teaching teacher candidates at CU Denver. Kelly has a knack for presenting information in a no-nonsense way so teachers feel their time has been well spent and they walk away from a workshop with practical strategies they can use in their classrooms right away.
